Growing up in the dance and theater world, Carlie was always surrounded by hair and makeup, even without realizing it. She was always the girl doing everyone’s hair and makeup in the dressing rooms. This natural flair carried over into her college years, always being the friend everyone would come to for hair and makeup before birthdays, nights out, and photoshoots. Eventually, she realized she could turn her passion for making people feel beautiful into her career, and has done everything in her power to turn this dream into a reality. In cosmetology school, she quickly realized her intuitive ability to always understand how to make people look their best, but more importantly, feel their best. Your comfort is not something she takes lightly, and she will do everything in her power to make sure your experience at L Studio is an enjoyable one.
Specializing in color and makeup, her artistic eye, honed over the years, is evident in every detail. Carlie firmly believes that the smallest details do make the biggest differences, but also understands the cravings for big changes sometimes! Having experienced her own hair changing drastically over the years, she is always up for big changes! From blonde to black, copper to dimensional brunette, long hair to trendy bobs, Carlie has personal experience with switching up looks- more times than most. This gives her a unique edge to truly understand anything you could desire.
