Liz, the visionary behind L Studio, ignited her passion for beauty during her theatrical pursuits in high school and college. After graduating from Towson University with a Bachelor of Arts, she set her sights on New Jersey to delve into Cosmetology.
Through extensive training across NYC, NJ, Philadelphia, and California, Liz honed her craft under the guidance of industry titans like KEVIN.MURPHY, Goldwell, L’Oreal, Redken and Schwarzkopf. In 2014, she unveiled the doors to L Studio, driven by a belief in continuous learning.
Liz earned her stripes as a Color Master Goldwell in 2017, later embracing the role of Color Educator with KEVIN.MURPHY in 2019. Her reach extends beyond the salon; she’s a trusted hand at Miami Swim Week and NYC Fashion Week, bringing her artistic touch to the runway.
But Liz’s journey isn’t defined by accolades alone. Her passion for her craft finds its true meaning in her genuine and caring approach. With an ear attuned to her clients’ needs, she listens with an empathetic heart. Whether it’s a hair challenge or a simple chat, Liz’s dedication shines as she wholeheartedly problem-solves, ensuring every client feels heard and understood.

But Kim’s influence doesn’t stop at the styling chair. As our right hand and salon manager, she’s the mastermind behind the scenes, ensuring every aspect runs seamlessly. Kim’s the go to for client issues, appointments, and the orchestration of a salon that thrives on organization and efficiency.
Kim’s journey began in high school, where she dove into Cosmetology, setting the stage for a remarkable career. NJ Glam was her first canvas, where she honed her skills under the guidance of the head Artist and Owner. From there, she stepped into the wedding industry, a proving ground for her artistry. Kim thrives under pressure, fashioning flawless looks with an electric energy that resonates in every detail.
With a keen eye for perfection and a dedication to her craft, Kim is our industry’s triple threat. Meet Cassie, a rising star in the world of beauty, who found her calling as a Stylist under the guiding light of Liz. Middle school marked the beginning of her fascination with hair and makeup, as YouTube tutorials flooded her phone with inspiration. What began with creating braids during school hours ignited a passion that led her to Cosmetology school, a ‘no brainer’ for Cassie as she embarked on her journey to master every facet of the industry.
Throughout her three years of experience, Cassie has found her true north in the art of cutting and special event styling. Her prowess isn’t confined to hair; as a Makeup Artist, she’s equally skilled. Cassie’s evolution has been bolstered by a close apprenticeship with our in-house Educator, Liz, fueling her growth as a triple threat in our artistry.
Cassie’s gift goes beyond her natural talent; it’s her innate ability to transform desires into realities. Her keen listening skills and intuitive knack for translating visions into tangible beauty is her signature. As Liz puts it, “She came to us a natural talent, with an ability to intuitively see things we usually have to train on. She will be a big name in this industry; just give her time.”

Anna is a Stylist and Colorist with over two decades of mastery. She channels her expertise through the lenses of Reiki Healing, tarot reading, and intuition. As a former Goldwell Educator, Anna’s formulation, color blocking, and highlight artistry are more than techniques—they’re spells woven into every strand. She is a graduate of Vidal Sassoon, bringing a keen eye and precision to every cut. Beyond her craft, Anna is a devoted dog and girl mom, infusing warmth and wisdom into her every creation. Services
Color
As each color service and client is unique and may require more than one type of service, consultations are highly recommended. This way, we can better assist you and give you the best possible quote to fit your specific needs. Our pricing is broken down by length of time, level of expertise, & amount of product used. Each service and client will have unique pricing due to this system as we weigh each service on Salon Scale, which breaks down price by each ounce of color used.
Modern Grey Coverage: $65+
Custom touch up to cover grey.
Gloss: $60+ (when in addition to highlight service $45+)
All over demi permanent color which conditions and adds shine.
Mini Blonding Service: $90+
Dimensional highlights or lowlights framing the face. Includes Gloss Treatment.
Partial Blonding Service: $145+
Dimensional highlights or lowlights around the face, crown and sides. Includes Gloss Treatment.
Full Blonding Service: $195+
Dimensional highlights or lowlights around the face, crown, back, and sides. Includes Gloss Treatment.
Creative Color Transformation: $100/hr+
Dramatic change from blonde to dark or vice versa; also necessary when transitioning from boxed at home color, or any color correcting service. Consultations are required for this service.
Styling & Haircutting
As we are a gender neutral salon, we go by the length of the hair, time it may take to complete, and level of artistry. If you are unsure what to book, we recommend a Styling Consultation before your service.
Creative Designer Haircut (1 hour +): Price starts at $65 for Level One Artist and ranges up to $110+ depending on time, length of hair, & level of Artist.
Curly Cut (1 hour+): $65- $115+
Cut for textured hair from wavy to curly to coily. Protects the natural wave or curl pattern of the hair so that guests may wear their hair natural daily. Includes Style & Curl Restoration depending on the Artist.
Blow-Out: $45+
Smoothing or voluminous service performed with a blow dryer and brush. *Includes hair wash*
Special Event Styling: $125+
Unique style including curls, waves, or braids. This style usually involves upstyling of some sort with bobby pins.
Special Event Trial: $175+
Appointment price based on time of an hour and a half. If more time is required or requested, price will also increase.
Extensions: $100+
Consultation required before booking. Adds length, volume, and color to your natural hair. Extensions offered are tape, sew in, braided, or knotless braids. They are based on a look and pricing depends on how much hair is required.
Keratin: $250+
Smoothing service that adds Keratin to the cuticle of the hair. Lasts up to 5-6 months. Perfect for the summer or high humidity vacations.
Body Wave: $185+
Permanent wave added to the hair to create volume and texture to the hair.
Braids: $60+
On scalp braids with or without designs.
Makeup
Makeup Trial: $175+
Appointment to try out a specific makeup look, usually for an upcoming special event.
Makeup Application: $125+ (Airbrush application $150+)
Custom makeup as natural or dramatic as desired. Includes Eyelashes
Makeup Lesson: $125/hr+
A one on one lesson with a professional makeup artist whether it be on makeup basics or on how to achieve a specific look.
Healing Services

Salon Policies & Procedures
BILLING & CANCELLATION—As our Stylist’s availability is limited, we do require billing information prior to scheduling any service. We understand that sometimes it is necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments, however we kindly ask that you give us a minimum 48 hour notice. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a 50% cancelled fee will be applied to the card on file. If you cancel within 24 hours, a 100% last minute cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file.
We require a 50% deposit for Keratin, Color Corrective, Creative Color, and Special Event Trial Services.
We realize that due to COVID-19 and other illnesses, schedules may change unexpectedly, and we will not hold clients to last minute cancellations should any symptoms or sickness arise. Should you wake to feel ill at all, please reschedule your appointment with us and remain at home.
LATE POLICY—We ask that clients notify the front desk should they be arriving late for their scheduled appointment. We understand that sometimes traffic, getting kids out of the house on time, or the corner coffee shop taking a bit longer on your order is out of your control. With this in mind, we make sure to book a 10 minute buffer when booking your appointments, because we know things happen. However, if you are running any later than 10 minutes, we may need to adjust to a smaller service in order for us to run on time for our other appointments. If you run later than 10 minutes, a late fee will be applied to your service total.
PRICING & REFUNDS—Prices are set and based on experience, time and product usage. We value our work and our clients, and we strive to deliver the very best. If there is something that you do not love about your color or cut, please contact the salon within seven (7) days of your visit so that we can happily adjust it to your liking at no additional cost. We highly recommend you attend a complimentary consultation prior to your scheduled appointment in order to find the Stylist & Budget fit for you. Refunds are not offered on services, gift cards, or retail purchases.
CHILDREN & PETS—For the safety of your children and the relaxation of all clients, children under the age of 18 and animals are not permitted in the salon. Children under 18 are permitted in the salon for a hair or makeup service, but must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. In order to perform our services to the best of our abilities, the staff at L Studio uses professional tools and chemicals that can be dangerous to small children if left unattended. In accordance with the New Jersey Department of Health, animals (with the exception of trained guide dogs) are not permitted in the salon. Out of respect for all L Studio clients, any client arriving to a scheduled appointment with a child under 18 or animal will be honored at L Studio’s discretion.
