Salon Policies & Procedures

BILLING & CANCELLATION—As our Stylist’s availability is limited, we do require billing information prior to scheduling any service. We understand that sometimes it is necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments, however we kindly ask that you give us a minimum 48 hour notice. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a 50% cancelled fee will be applied to the card on file. If you cancel within 24 hours, a 100% last minute cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file.

We require a 50% deposit for Keratin, Color Corrective, Creative Color, and Special Event Trial Services.

We realize that due to COVID-19 and other illnesses, schedules may change unexpectedly, and we will not hold clients to last minute cancellations should any symptoms or sickness arise. Should you wake to feel ill at all, please reschedule your appointment with us and remain at home.

LATE POLICY—We ask that clients notify the front desk should they be arriving late for their scheduled appointment. We understand that sometimes traffic, getting kids out of the house on time, or the corner coffee shop taking a bit longer on your order is out of your control. With this in mind, we make sure to book a 10 minute buffer when booking your appointments, because we know things happen. However, if you are running any later than 10 minutes, we may need to adjust to a smaller service in order for us to run on time for our other appointments. If you run later than 10 minutes, a late fee will be applied to your service total.

PRICING & REFUNDS—Prices are set and based on experience, time and product usage. We value our work and our clients, and we strive to deliver the very best. If there is something that you do not love about your color or cut, please contact the salon within seven (7) days of your visit so that we can happily adjust it to your liking at no additional cost. We highly recommend you attend a complimentary consultation prior to your scheduled appointment in order to find the Stylist & Budget fit for you. Refunds are not offered on services, gift cards, or retail purchases.

CHILDREN & PETS—For the safety of your children and the relaxation of all clients, children under the age of 18 and animals are not permitted in the salon. Children under 18 are permitted in the salon for a hair or makeup service, but must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. In order to perform our services to the best of our abilities, the staff at L Studio uses professional tools and chemicals that can be dangerous to small children if left unattended. In accordance with the New Jersey Department of Health, animals (with the exception of trained guide dogs) are not permitted in the salon. Out of respect for all L Studio clients, any client arriving to a scheduled appointment with a child under 18 or animal will be honored at L Studio’s discretion.
